Employment Support for Individuals on the Autism Waiting List
Providing support to individuals who are currently on the autism assessment diagnosis waiting list in Sheffield with employment support needs
We are delighted to be joining a wider partnership project for a 6 month pilot period helping anyone who is waiting for a diagnosis support from the moment you enter the diagnosis waiting list in Sheffield.
Our “Bridging the Gap – Employment Support for Individuals on the Autism Waiting List” offers personalised one to one support to help individuals identify and overcome barriers on their journey towards employment or whilst in employment and trying to navigate a potential diagnosis in the workplace.
We can offer support face to face in our Sheffield office or online via video calls to suit the needs of the individual.
Support is typically for around 1 hour per week, but this can be flexible depending on the individual.
What support does the programme offer?
Our Moving Forward support offers bespoke personalised sessions to help:
- Develop personalised action plan to help you overcome barriers
- Help develop your confidence and self esteem in the workplace
- Help with goals and aspirations
- Support to access volunteering
- Developing employability skills
- Helping individuals to access employment, education or training

Be on the waiting list for an autism diagnosis within the Sheffield area.
